It is with a heavy heart that we share that our friend and comrade Nikola Shterjov passed away yesterday.

Shterjov was one of the most experienced, solidary and persistent fighters for freedom and a better world, with all the initiatives, protests, actions and organizations that he was a part of in the last decade and more. Many walls throughout Skopje will forever bear his messages.

His contributions, humor and memory will be forever woven into the hearts of all of us who had the privilege of standing shoulder to shoulder with him.

He was one of the most frequent visitors to the Balkan Anarchist Book Fair and actively involved in the organization of this year’s edition in Skopje, so we would like to dedicate this BAB to him.

Goodbye Shterjov, you brought a lot of light into our lives, after you our lives will be emptier.
